http://sfgreendrinks.org SF Green Drinks is a volunteer-run, free, public event held between 5:30 and 8:30pm on the first Tuesday of every month at
111 Minna Gallery. Green Drinkers are welcome to come and go as they please and are encouraged to invite new friends into our green community. Volunteer Greeters welcome you to the event while Connectors help start conversation and point out the resources, Sponsors and Community Partners.
The monthly event is typically sponsored by two organizations from the Bay Area who help fund the event and provide free beverages to those Green Drinkers who arrive early or who uniquely participate in our community. In exchange, Sponsors have the unique opportunity to give a brief chat to the group about who they are and how they serve the Bay Area as a business, non-profit, or organization.
After the Sponsorship interlude (~10min), we return to networking and socializing with our like-minded colleagues. Entertainment is also provided by local musicians/DJs after the Sponsors speak.
San Francisco Green Drinker (n): a motivated and socially-conscious person representing any sector of the green economy in the San Francisco Bay Area. Professionals from renewable energy, domestic and international conservation groups, the media, clean technology, utilities, organic foods, and hundreds more attend the monthly SFGD event to network and have engaging conversations. The demographics of SF Green Drinkers has expanded to include curious eco-conscious people from every walk of life.
Bringing Promotional Materials
Anyone is OK to bring materials and hand them out so long as it does not take away from the Sponsors table space. Sorry, we don't mention other events, organizations, etc during the sponsors' slot as it wouldn't be fair to our paying sponsors.
